I have been blessed to serve at Opportunity Camp since 1980. This program has touched my heart and the hearts of many
others by serving the needy in our community. Over the years as we have strived to provide a program that empowers individuals
into service, challenges us to inspire others and changes lives through the process.
Christianity is relational, therefore we believe in relationships here at Opportunity Camp. We want to grow in our relationship
with the Lord, with one another and with our neighbors. We hope you will join us as we share our lives in this community.
Get involved in a ministry that empowers individuals to develop a deeper relationship with God, who share the message of
Christ unto the world through outreach that is relevant, practical, challenging and deliberate. Individuals who join hands
to serve others unconditionally. If you seek to build these relationships, we believe that you will find joy, true purpose
and be fulfilled in your journey as you grow in your devotion to the Lord.
'Love the Lord with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength' and 'love
your neighbor as yourself' Mark 12:31
Enclosed is a copy of this year's teaching material. It is designed to give you an overview of each day's theme, along with
questions you can use on your Forest Walk. The more familiar you become with the themes and passages, the better equipped you
will be. Once again, thank you for serving God by serving his children

Opportunity Camp has been blessed for over thirty years with some of the greatest volunteers around. We are a one hundred
percent volunteer organization. Every staff member -- from cook to counselor -- donates their time and energy to making camp a
success for the kids we serve.
